Friends visiting from Hawaii, we were all excited to head across the channel and fish the front side of Santa Cruz Island. After our first drift we knew the fishing was going to be great today! Ling cod, chuckleheads, vermilion rockfish limits by 12 noon. We then made a bee line in to the front side and checked out the caves and wash rocks and secluded private caves where we had lunch. A great way to spend a Sunday.
